not in codes, signals, or gestures
i know they mean much to you
but when they reach me
they leave me with nothing but questions
maybe, you do not realize
even trickles of vagueness
have the power to bring waves
of confusion
could you please
say it in a language i know?
in syllables that i can interpret with certainty?
so much of it could get lost in translation
but then perhaps,
there is really nothing to say
and there were really no gestures or signals or codes
this i am bound to believ
in a matter of seconds or days
unless you say otherwise,
in words that do not lie
in ways that leave no room for doubt
